This holiday was very nice the apartment was as stated in the reviews, wonderful views from both terraces, plenty of utensils in the kitchen, and so very clean, some really nice restaurants within a 10min walk down hill, which is fine the only downside is having to walk back up this hill which is very steep but apart from that the holiday and the apartment were great, buses take you to valletta where you can get a bus to anywhere else on the island, this is our 7th stay in Malta but never been to marsascarla before, we ate in Grabiel which was lovely also the Ximo which was lovely and the Lemon & Lime Pub which was really nice sitting outside watching the world go by,

From making the initial booking and until our departure, the service from GCM Holidays was first class. After initial contact with the owner to check availability we were given all the information needed, asked about specific requirements. The booking process was very simple and upon confirmation we were sent (pdf) brochures about Malta which were very helpful. George the owner welcomed us at the airport and took us to the apartment. Throughout our stay George was very obliging, I mentioned that I would be hiring a car and immediately he gave me access to one of the underground parking spaces.
The apartment is situated at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, attractive from the outside and accessed via a lift to the 4th floor. in my opinion the apartment was very nicely furnished and fitted with all you require for a holiday. This apartment has the best view, overlooking the countryside from a large front terrace and overlooking Marsascala harbour.

The apartment was as described. The best thing, for us, is the view of the harbour and the hills. The big terrace allow you to make wonderful breakfast and dinners.The apartment is well equipped (washing machine, oven, A/C, ecc..)and it is spacious and bright. On the street you can park easy and the area is very quiet. George, the owner, is very kind and helpful.

My husband and I stayed in the lovely one bedroom penthouse apartment in the hot month of July and the place is very nice, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. It even had a small bbq which we have only noticed in the cupboard above the oven half way though our stay; we even had a bag of coal and we were able to enjoy a couple of bbq's in the evening on the terrace enjoying the lovely views and the cooling breeze. The views from both terraces are stunning (photos don't do them justice)!
Yes, the hill to reach the apartment is a bit steep to climb especially in the hot afternoons, but it is so worth being so high up as from the terraces you can see so much... absolutely amazing!!!
George is very nice and friendly. It made a difference to be picked up from the airport and dropped back. Thank you George for the very nice place you have offered!
We will for sure go back as we loved this island so much!

We spent a week in this apartment in October 2011 and could not fault it. It is bright,nicely decorated,well furnished and does have wonderful views. The owner was extremely helpful and being collected from and returned to the airport was an added bonus.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of March and found the apartment spacious for 2 adults and in a good position both for touring ( we hired a car) and for being peaceful at night. The apartment was very nice and had all the facilities that we needed - 2 balconies which are great for sitting out. Why have a hotel room when you can have an apartment for the same money? The owner George was very helpful and a thoroughly nice chap. The town is a very pretty extended fishing village with a genuine Maltese feel. We liked the Waterline Restaurant - had 2 great meals in there and prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend this apartment and location.

This apartment is ideal for 2 people and is good value. George collected us from the airport and returned us there and was courteous and helpful, pointing out shops and bus stops etc on the way. The apartment is on the top floor of 4 floors of a relatively new block (with lift) in a very quiet part of town. It is a bit of a pull up when walking, but worth it for the wonderful views from both front and back terraces.
The bedroom was comfortable with good en-suite shower room. On the whole the kitchen was well equipped, but we did find it chilly in the living area in the evenings as the only form of heating was from the air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The weather was not kind to us and with the wind howling around and under both the front and patio doors it was quite cold when relaxing in the evening. We had to resort to wrapping ourselves up in blankets!
